Barbaresco DOCG 2016 is ready to present itself to the world.
The Enoteca Regionale of Barbaresco is pleased to announce the presentation
of the 2016 vintage of Barbaresco DOCG in a unique two-day Event,
which will start on Sunday 28 April and end on Monday 29 April 2019, in the fascinating stage of the historic Castello di Neive and with an exceptional guest:
the American wine journalist and writer Kerin O’Keefe,
Italian publisher of Wine Enthusiast – the authoritative American magazine dedicated
to the world of wine – and author of the best-selling
“Barolo and Barbaresco – The King and Queen of Italian wine”.

A prestigious event that will present the Barbaresco DOCG 2016 in all its nuances, but that is also an opportunity to immerse themselves in the many facets of
the Barbaresco itself, in its history, tradition, essence, land, origin,
to tell its own story and stories.
The event will be inaugurated on Sunday 28 April with a Masterclass exclusively reserved to the Italian and international press and held by Kerin O’Keefe,

“The Voice of Barbaresco – vintage 2016”, which will tell you and make you known and taste 18 labels of Barbaresco 2016 from as many wineries, to continue with a guided tour of the Castle of Neive and its historic cellars and a Tour of the MGA, accompanied by Giancarlo Montaldo, journalist and wine expert.
The event will continue on Monday 29 in the premises of the historic cellar of the Castle, with a catwalk that will gather at the tasting benches 68 Producers and will open the doors
to journalists, industry professionals and all Wine Lovers, in a day of tasting that will offer the opportunity to taste different vintages of Barbaresco.
A fundamental appointment that will unveil the 2016 vintage in an exclusive preview in which Barbaresco will be the great protagonist.
