The history of Bersano begins in the early 1900s in Nizza Monferrato, in the heart of the Barbera d’Asti area. In 1935 Arturo Bersano moved to the management of the winery, which until that moment was a family business, and with his ideas and works marks the distinctive features of the wine house following the motto “if you want to drink well buy a vineyard”. According to his example the Families Massimelli and Soave, for more than thirty years owners of the company, have bought several estates expanding their activities in the best crus of Piedmont.
