Borgogno Fratelli Serio e Battista

Via Crosia, 12, 12060 Barolo (CN)

The origin of the winery Borgogno Fratelli Serio e Battista is due to the Cavalier Francesco Borgogno who in the mid-nineteenth century started the production and sale of his wine in the center of Barolo. In 1897 the Cavaliere’s nephews, Serio and Battista, moved the headquarters of the winery to a small farmhouse in the Cannubi, having fully grasped the potential of crù and Barolo.
The winery is currently run by the fifth generation, Federica Boffa and Bolla Emanuela, with the precious support of the fourth generation, represented by Paola and Anna Borgogno, and with the collaboration of Marco Bolla. Emanuela and Federica have decided to continue the family activity by combining the acquired traditions with a greater sensitivity that translates into the search for detail in the vineyard and in the cellar in the maximum respect of terroir and biodiversity.
Total annual production: about 90.000 bottles
