Castello di Neive

Located within the beautiful 18th-century castle, the winery has been owned by the Stupino family since 1964. Of the 60 hectares of land, all sites in the municipality of Neive, 26 are destined at the cultivation of grapes and 20 of hazelnuts. All wine production is obtained from owned grapes. Among the vineyards deserves a special note of merit the Santo Stefano, already mapped in the Cabreo of the Castle of Neive in 1742, “monopole” with exposure, slope, microclimate and soil that make it unique for Barbaresco and Barbera d’Alba. Since 2012 Italo Stupino has activated a second technical winery, also in Neive, in an ideal structure for the optimization of the processes of pressing, fermenting and maintaining bottles at controlled temperature. Finally, in 2016, it opened its doors “La Casetta del Castello di Neive” in the premises of the eighteenth century house renovated within the garden of the Castle.
