Poderi Colla

The winery Poderi Colla was officially founded in 1994, but the beginning of the wine history of the Colla family dates back to 1703. In 1930 Beppe Colla was born, involved in the drafting of the production disciplinary of the Alba Appellations: in the 60s he was the first in the Langhe to vinify separately the grapes of the best positions and introduce in the label the word cru, a term of great importance for the protection of the territory. Today in the company, next to Tino, brother of Beppe, there are also Federica and Pietro Colla: respectively daughter and granddaughter of Beppe. Poderi Colla is composed of 4 farms for a total of 29 hectares: Cascine Drago in Alba, Bricco Bompè in Madonna Como di Alba, Tenuta Roncaglia in Barbaresco and Dardi le Rose in Bussia di Monforte.

Total annual production: 145.000 bottles
