Bersano winery was founded in 1907 in Nizza Monferrato, the heart of the Barbera d’Asti territory. Bersano, now owned by the Massimelli family, directly manages 10 farmhouses and over 230 hectares of vineyards in the best “Cru” of Monferrato and Langhe. Bersano has always believed in the importance of the vineyard, considered the founding nucleus of wine quality, working in close contact with the land and respecting the Piedmontese wine tradition. The farm also boasts the “Museo delle Contadinerie” and the “Museo delle antiche stampe del vino”, a concrete testimony of the Piedmontese peasant culture and civilization.
