Luigi Giordano

Founded by Giovanni Giordano with an act of courage in the thirties, a particular negative period for the vine and quality wine, the company dedicated the first part of its history to cultivate its vineyards and selling the grapes.
At the beginning of the ’60, when plans were afoot to introduce “denominazione di origine” status in favour of quality wines, his son Luigi decided to begin making his own wines from the grapes grown on these highly-prized vineyards.
Today the estate, run by Luigi’s daughters Silvia and Laura, assisted by the son of Laura, Matteo, boasts over seven hectares of vineyards, all located in Barbaresco on the slopes of some of the most prestigious growing areas, such as Montestefano, Asili, Ronchi and Cavanna

Total annual production: 80.000 bottles
