Rivella Serafino
The owner Teobaldo Rivella belongs to a family of winemakers; his father Serafino already produced and sold wine, as used to do his grandfather Pietro. Teobaldo began to bottle in 1967 from the vineyards left to him by his father and since then he produces about 12.000 bottles per year divided between Barbaresco (about 8000) and Dolcetto. Supporter of a natural viticulture, Teobaldo practises a method of organic production and winemaking, although not certified, and works without pesticides, fertilizers and synthetic products in general.
