La Spinetta

In 1977 LA SPINETTA in Castagnole Lanze was founded by Giuseppe and Lidia Rivetti, where the family took up residence. The first Barbaresco, Gallina, (the picture of the label is the rhinoceros, of the artist Dürer) was produced in 1995 followed by Barbaresco Starderi, Barbera d’Alba Gallina in 1996 and and Barbaresco Valeirano and Bordini. Since the 80s the original structure of the winery is renewed and expanded with the inclusion of three children in the company. Today they manage four locations, including three in Piedmont and one in Tuscany, with a 165-hectare property that produces 650,000 bottles a year.
